The body weight varies greatly according to the vehicle chassis form. Generally, family cars and off-road vehicles use a load-bearing body structure, and the body weight is about 1 ton. According to 1.5 times of the body strength, the roof can withstand about 1.5 tons of pressure. Generally, a tent can only accommodate four people, and only 600 pounds for one person at 150 pounds, and only 700 pounds for a 100-pound tent. So you don't have to worry about whether the roof can bear this weight. In addition, like the non-load-bearing car body with girder, the roof strength is higher, which can generally bear 4-5 times the curb weight, and the allowable strength is also higher.
2. What are the requirements for installing roof tents?
